About the Hostel

Fort William is right in the thick of the most dramatic and remarkable part of the Scottish Highlands. Glencoe, Glen Nevis and Ben Nevis are all near here.

After you’ve been out all day exploring, walking, cycling or whatever you’ve been doing, the cosiest place to relax in afterwards is Fort William Backpackers. We have a comfy lounge with an open fire and probably the best view in town. If the weather’s good maybe we’ll be having a barbecue on our patio so come and join us.

Our dorm rooms are small (maximum eight beds) and all beds are steady (not wobbly) and made with clean fitted sheets.

You must have suitable photographic identification to stay at our hostel.

If any guest within your booking is under the age of 18 you MUST contact us before making the reservation online

The hostel reception is open from 8am-11am and then from 5pm-10pm. If you arrive in the afternoon feel free to leave your bags and use the facilities, and then check-in between 5pm-10pm.

We do not accept stag or hens parties.
